Christmas Decorations Christmas is a hands-on art. From the lights we put on the house to the decorations we put on the tree to the great foods we eat in the process, Christmas is a time of doing -- and this is the place we gather to talk, plan and share.

We will probably put our tree up during the last week of November or first week of December.

My Christmas decorations (inside) usually go up around November 12 or 13 (whatever weekend those dates are around) and we put up the tree that Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. We try to put the outside decorations out whenever its good weather outside any weekend after the 12th. And I WISH i could put my Christmas tree up that early lol, my mom won't let us though!

Inside decorations go up monday before Thanksgiving, outside ones go up weekend after. Our tree goes up sometime mid December. Because we get a real tree and we don't want it to dry out.

I'll probably put the tree up in a couple of weeks time. I cant wait for the first week in December like most people. I like to keep my decorations up longer.

Since we go and cut down a tree from a tree farm, we always have to wait until they are ready to sell them. It usually ends up being the weekend after Thanksgiving.

shabbychick is a new face around here!
I always start decorating the first weekend in November (it's awesome that this year the 1st is on a Saturday!) And I'll continue decorating every weekend after that until I'm done. So my kitchen tree and front hallway tree will go up during that time, but the living room tree we get a real one, so that's always the first week of December.
