My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
My 95-7 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA has already started playing Christmas music. They have an online listen link as well. - http://www.957fm.com/
My Ninety-Five-Seven has a Bah Humbug! Phone line for folks to call in with their positive or negative comments on their all Christmas programming! They reserve the right to air your comments over the air. That’s where YOU come in!
I thought it would be fun for the Merry Network to “invade” the Bah Humbug! comment line! Let’s see how many of us we can get to record a message for Milwaukee! We could say something like “I’m (screen name) from MyMerryChristmas.com and I’m listening online from (your location) to My Ninety-Five-Seven, Milwaukee’s Christmas Music Station !” Variations plus Christmas greetings would be good!
Who is with me? – Call 414.944.5289 and record a brief message. Let’s see how many of us get on the air in Milwaukee!
Here’s what I said –" Howdy! I’m RadioJonD from MyMerryChristmas.com. And I’m listening to MY Ninenty-five-seven online from Alabama! If you don’t like Milwaukee’s Christmas Music Station, Go Bah Humbug your ownself! Cool Yule Y’all!"
Actually, I think they may have forgotten about the phone line. I thought it would be fun if we could “rush” the line with Christmas music in July 2010 requests! However, I don’t think anyone much comes into the music forums to make any difference. I’m on the case though! I’m calling at least once a month.
We could also have some real fun with it if we all called and left a message each month on Rudolph Day.
