In my Gift Closet I have................

Well fro starters it isn't even a gift closet as it is under bed storage boxes! but oh well you get the idea of it.

I wanted to start a little thread as Im constantly making lists of what I've brought - then I lose them, so then I start again and do the same or I want to update it but can never find a list or its out of date because ive added lots fo other bits to it etc so again i have to start again.( anyone else seeing what i mean) so i figured if i start a thread I could update one thread/post and it would all stay safe and up to date and i can add as I go. (feel free to add your own lists and updates too below)

We keep a "gift stash" in a few storage boxes downstairs; whenever we see a nice gift for someone, no matter what time of year, we buy it and put it in the stash. Come August or September, we haul out the boxes and our Christmas list some weekend, take inventory, and find out who's covered and who we still need gifts for. It's a great system, and it keeps Christmas going year round. I couldn't begin to make a list of what's in the stash right now, though. But I came across an ice-cream scoop with a handle shaped like a penguin today that I bought for a friend who loves ice cream and penguins. It practically had her name on it! If I'd waited until "Christmas shopping season," I wouldn't have come across it.

We have several totes filled with gifts stashed in the attic where little eyes can't see. I also have a tote in the bedroom that we I have begun filling with razors, lotions, chapstick, card games, etc to send to soldiers this Christmas.

Our gift closet is in the spare bedroom. When I start loading it with gifts I let my Wife know not to snoop around hehe
