Interesting Quote:

Kurt Luchs at New Northwest Broadcasters’ KKSR had this to say about the switch to all Christmas:

“It’s been a pretty tough year for many people, and with holiday music being like audio comfort food…we figured it would be nice to start Christmas a little early.”

KKSR went all Christmas last week.

At least we will now know where to look! Who will start the first renegade thread without looking here first?
Though I haven’t confirmed this, rumor is that Sirius XM satellite radio will have their holiday channels (or a least one) active on Monday, November 16.

Also, I read on a radio forum where a radio station in Knoxville, Tennessee is playing all Christmas music on the weekends before Thanksgiving (November 7, 12, & 21) before going all Christmas Thanksgiving weekend. The poster didn’t elaborate on which station. - http://www.xmfan.com/viewtopic.php?p...light=#1654604

Anyone got the scoop on either of these?

I looked around a bunch and can't figure it out...yet.

The two radio stations that play 24-7 Christmas music are 88.3 and 97.5 and neither of them has anything about it on their websites, unfortunately.

I will definitely be sure to check around the dial this weekend. You can count on that one!
