tree Christmas Party

I'm looking to throw a small Christmas party in my new apartment. It's going to be for a few of my close friends (all female--think "Girls Night Christmas Style") .. Any ideas for a cute & classy Christmas party? Recipes? Decorations? Activities? All attendees will be in their twenties!

Thanks!

My college friends and I do this. One of us is jewish and another doesn't celebrate a traditional Christmas, so we call it our chanachrisolstice party. There are 5 of us and we each usually bring a small sort of finger food, even if it's chips and dip. My one friend always makes something super yummy. I'll see if I can get any recipes from her.

As for the party itself, we usually just play some festive music and drink wine and play board games. Last year it was Trivial Persuit. Of the 5 of us, 3 are guys, so we never did a "girl's night" thing. But maybe for a girl's night Christmas... You could maybe make some homemade masks and have a kind of spa party.

Have fun with it!

I do this with my girlfriends every year too, (NO BOYS ALLOWED ) except we house hop! We go to about 4-5 houses to see everyones decorations & we have snacks/drinks at every house!! I always have Christmas music playing & for snacks I make a cheese log or cheeseball, buffalo chicken tortialla's, meat & cheese tray, a hot (crock pot) chicken dip, mexican dip, & a sweet(s) like Christmas cookies/candy...that kind of stuff!! Oh, I'm so excited now! We have never played games or anything cuz we are always a little rushed so that we make it to everyone's house!!

Buffalo Chicken Tortilla’s

2 cans chicken (or 1 large)
2 cream cheese
1 packet ranch dressing
Buffalo Wing Sauce (add enough to give it a zing, but not too much that it gets runny –
about ¼ cup)
Green Onion
Diced Jalapeno’s
Seasoning salt, garlic salt/powder, cholula, Franks Hot Sauce

Mix together, spread on tortilla’s, roll up, slice & refrigerate.
