My hubby rings the bell for our local area Salvation Army, and let me tell ya some people are down right rude to him.I can't believe someone would steal from the poor. Then ya have the ones who buy coffee, hot chocolate and donuts for him.

Aww.. That is sad to hear that people are rude to him. I am delighted to hear the bell ring, say hi to them and drop a little something in the kettle. I am happy to hear people buy coffee and donuts for him. I never thought to do that! What a nice gesture.

How horrible for someone to actually steal the kettle.

He must have been pretty desperate to do something like that. The sad thing is if he had a legit issue the Salvation Army probably would have helped him out
