Love A Bargain!!

Hey All!
Just got back from shopping. Was gonna go yesterday but decided to just have lunch with my sister and go the following day. Walmart still had quite a bit of Christmas stuff left over with 75% off. Main things I purchased and needed were the plastic rubbermaid containers for my gift wrap, more ornament containers etc. I also purchased lots of new lights. I really scored on these....normally 7 bucks a box I got em' for 1.50 (believe me I stocked up...*L*) And I got about 8 boxes of the mini 100 string lights for 50 cents / box. I also got a new lighted wreath.. usually 20.00 buck a roos....got it for 2.50 Can't beat these kinda deals!

I was just wondering if it was too late to find some of the after Christmas stuff still for sale. I haven't had a chance to hit a store since Christmas and I was afraid that it would all be gone. Thanks! Hopefully I can find some big bargains too!

Well the ornaments were pretty picked over but plenty of lights, christmas wrap, gift bags, tags that sort of thing were still left. I guess it may vary from store to store. Let me know how you do if you get a chance to go check things out.

WOW! That's great! Target has been cleaned out for awhile now.. I'll have to head to Walmart!

It's like Christmas all over again when you open up your great finds from the previous year when you're taking our your decorations... nothing better!

Target, Walmart and Kmart are all wiped out in my area. Only Macy's has anything left. Imagine that

What a great deal on lights! I've only been able to take advantage of online sales this year and just wish I could get in on a sale like that.

Yep... January seems to be tghe best time for "Christmas decorating/supplies" bargains! What about the rest of the bargains?

AND.... are you thinking/talking about Christmas gifts this year... with people you exchange gifts with? Everyone I know is cutting back. Giving "consumable" gifts. Etc. What are you talking about now?
