A PDF file is a very commonly used file that many people now utilize for creating and editing documents. The PDF is popular because it is considered a universal file format and it preserves the fonts, colors, layout and graphics of the program that was originally used to create it. PDF stands for Portable Document Format. The most commonly used program for PDF files is called Adobe Acrobat. Acrobat allows the user to open, edit, and save the PDF file and send it to others. Once you’ve chosen a conversion program and downloaded it, it’s time to convert your PDF file over to Word format.
First, you’ll want to open your PDF file using Adobe Acrobat. Then, click on the File command at the top of the file and click on Save As… Once you’ve done this, you can name your PDF file anything you desire, and save it to whatever folder you wish, or you can simply save it to the desk top. Remember when you do this, to use the pull down menu in Adobe. This menu will give you several options to save the file as varying formats. Word should be one of those options.
